Work week used for FTE calculation: 37 hours. Other comments: data from 2015 onwards do not include sickness benefit recipients who receive unemployment benefits during the first 14 days of sick leave. The Sickness Benefit Act was changed temporarily during covid. As a result, the number of recipients was higher in 2020-2022.

Finland

The following work week is used for FTE calculation: There is no information available about the work hours of the people receiving the benefits. The total number of sickness benefit days during the year is devided by 300.

Norway

The following work week is used for FTE calculation: 364 days, all weeks.

Sweden

The following work week is used for FTE calculation: the sum of all days (full time/part-time)) during a year divided by 365.
